L'EPOQUE BY ROBUCHON
On the ground floor of the Elkonin Hotel, the restaurant L’Epoque is a sensation, the first restaurant signed by Robuchon group in Israel. Present in the most beautiful cities in the world, including Paris, London, Dubai & Hong Kong. The iconic french chef was awarded the most awarded one, with 32 stars in the Michelin guide. His heritage, as well as his timeless and most famous recipes continue to define today’s sophisticated French Cuisine around the world.
From breakfast to dinner, gourmets will be able to enjoy inventive and original recipes, created by the group’s executive chef, David Alves, in collaboration with the hotel’s chef. L’Epoque offers an exclusive culinary journey between the sophisticated french cuisine, and the vibrant mediterranean gastronomy, under the prestigious signature of Robuchon.
L’Epoque also features a terrace on Lilienblum Street, and a patio between the historic building and the glass tower, a true heaven of peace and greenery, inviting guests to relax and enjoy the pleasant temperatures of Tel Aviv.

During the day, the Rooftop is exclusively dedicated to hotel guests and opens its doors to external clients in the evening based on reservation.

Joël Robuchon (1945 – 2018)
Joel Robuchon was a French chef and restaurateur. He was named “Chef of the Century” by the guide Gault Millau in 1989 and awarded the Meilleur Ouvrier de France (France’s best worker). He operated more than a dozen restaurants around the world, with the highest record of a total of 32 Michelin Guide stars among them, the most of any chef in the world.
Robuchon has been the most influential French chef of the post-nouvelle cuisine era. Robuchon has been known for the relentless perfectionism of his cuisine; he said there is no such thing as the perfect meal – one can always do better. He was instrumental in leading French cuisine forward from the excessive reductionism of nouvelle cuisine toward a post-modern amalgam of the nouvelle, international influences. Drawing his inspiration firstly from the simplicity of Japanese cuisine, he led the way in creating a more delicate style respectful of natural food ingredients.
